The Blaze organization is dedicated to supporting girls competitive fast pitch softball
in the Berthoud area. Ladies from ages 8 to 18 play competitive softball for Blaze teams.

Teams are formed in the fall. Practice starts in the late fall, weather permitting.
The season starts in March and runs through June.
July is reserved for the state tournament and World Series.
Games are played up and down the front range of Colorado.
Games are played through out the US during the summer.
Mountain towns like Steamboat Springs host tournaments every summer.
Cost is determined by the following:
Number of tournaments entered.
Teams can play every week end or once a month.
Typically a team will played every other week or every third week.
Uniforms also drive cost. Most teams only have one uniform.
Equipment can also drive the cost. Most teams have their required equipment.
Funds are used for equipment that needs replacement.
Younger teams tend to cost $250-$500
Older teams tend to cost $350-$700
